RefWorks

RCM is a great tool that integrates your RefWorks research library with Word as you write the research paper.

RCM Reference Citation Manager

What is RefWorks Citation Manager (RCM)?

RefWorks Citation Manager (RCM) is an add-in for Microsoft Word that lets you run a simplified read-only version of RefWorks inside Word that allows you to create in-text citations and a reference list while writing your paper.

Every time you log into RCM, it automatically synchronizes with your RefWorks account.

New things!

For Word and Google Docs

My Citations - The new My Citations tab gives you a clear, organized view of every reference you've used.

You can switch between citation view and bibliography view, see how many times each reference was cited, and even jump straight to the citation in your document with a single click in the RCM add-in—your cursor will land right where that citation appears.

Need to find a specific reference? Just use the search feature to quickly locate any citation included in your document.

Citation Formatting Off - If you're working on a large document and things are starting to slow down, you can turn off automatic citation formatting to help speed things up. Citations will still be added to your document—they just won’t be formatted until you switch the option back on. It’s a handy way to keep things running smoothly while you focus on the content. This feature is available exclusively in RCM for Word.
