Using RefWorks to create bibliographies.

Creating a Bibliography in RefWorks

 

You can easily create a bibliography from the All Documents area, any collection or your search results list.

Simple steps to creating a bibliography

1. Choose what citations to include.

2. Click the quotation marks icon at the top of the page. 

3. Select Create a Bibliography.

4. Click the down arrow by the search box to see a drop-down menu of citation style options. 

5. Click on Institution, select - APA 7th - Trevecca 2021 as the style to apply.  This video shows how to find and apply  Trevecca's APA 7 style in RefWorks. Click here

6. The bibliography will automatically display in HTML format.

7. Click the Copy to Clipboard button to copy or save the bibliography into a Word format.

8. Proofread the citations by checking the APA 7 Manual or APAStyle Blog to be sure the formatting is accurate.

Steps to create a bibliography applying the APA 7th - Trevecca 2021 institutional style:

Choose the folder or select the citations you want to use and click the Create bibliography icon. 
You can choose to create a bibliography for selected references or for all of the references in the collection (or in All Documents if that's the view you are in).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Next, search for your citation style and select it.  For Trevecca students using APA 7 use, the institution style noted below.

Your formatted bibliography will be displayed in your browser for you to copy and paste into any word processing software.
