You can find books by searching the library website. Discovery search allows you to search for print and eBooks simultaneously. Use the filters on the left side of the result page to choose print books or eBook format.

Coming to the library?
Print books for checkout are shelved on the top floor of Waggoner. We use the Library of Congress (LC) system to organize our books. All titles are filed by LC subject disciplines such as library science in the Zs or education in the LD.
Check out
Your Trevecca ID serves as your library card. If you don't have a physical TNU ID bring a photo ID to enable checkout. Typically print books are checked out for 28 days.

eBooks
Waggoner eBook collections integrate over 200,000 full text eBooks into Discovery Search. On the Discovery result list, after limiting results to Library ► Trevecca then Format ► Book ► eBook, click the Access online button to open the eBook.
Read Options
Waggoner eBook collections have options for the book to be checked out to a device (laptops, tablets, iPad, or smartphones are all devices), or print sections of the book or view it online. In order to take advantage of those options, you will need to create an account, it's free!
EBook Central and EBSCO eBooks are our two primary eBook collections. You can search them separately or by using Discovery Search.

The U.S. Department of Education sponsors this database to provide extensive access to education-related literature. ERIC provides coverage of journal articles, conferences, meetings, government documents, theses, dissertations, reports, audiovisual media, bibliographies, directories, books, and monographs.
The Information Science database provides access to a wide range of resources for those interested in information science and technology. It's a valuable tool for library science students, information science professionals, and anyone involved in managing and maintaining information and technology. The database includes scholarly journals, trade publications, and other relevant content covering topics like usability, cataloging, circulation, and business information. From nearly 100 leading industry journals with appropriate and useful information in IT areas of expertise, including such topics as information infrastructure, data processing techniques, metadata architectures, and more.
Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA) indexes more than 600 core journals and more than 120 selective and priority journals. Coverage in this free research database extends as far back as 1960. LISTA also includes author profiles and a robust thesaurus.
A unique working and teaching tool created by librarians for librarians. Reflecting the latest trends in a rapidly evolving field, this database indexes English and foreign language periodicals, selected state journals, conference proceedings, pamphlets, books, and library school theses, plus over 300 books per year.

Streaming Video
Films on Demand's Master Academic Collection offers streaming video of over 7,000 full-length titles in the humanities, social sciences, business, economics, health, medicine, science and mathematics. These videos are made available by Films Media Group from producers such as Films for the Humanities, Cambridge Educational, NOVA, A&E, and PBS. Unlimited, simultaneous, 24/7 access, in class or off-site, is provided.

The Films on Demand (FOD) Computer Science and Information Technology Video Collection delivers videos from programming, databases, and networking to AI, robotics, web development, and the history and cultural impact of computing. Tailored for academic use, the collection features short, pedagogical video segments ideal for classroom instruction, alongside documentary features.
FOD offers a diverse library of over 40,000 films and videos, covering various subjects from Curriculum and Instruction, Foundations, Psychology & Education, Special Education. The collection includes documentaries, interviews, debates, and archival footage, often divided into segments for focused viewing.
DVD format
Waggoner Library has a substantial collection of DVD and audio related resources. When searching Discovery, you can limit your results to be only those that are DVD by changing the format to "DVD video" in your Advanced Search.
DVDs are located in the ELC, the ground floor of the library. Checkout is limited to Trevecca students and faculty.
