Hello!

Are you tackling a research project and need some guidance? Whether you're looking for tips on searching specific databases, diving into a new topic, or need a refresher on APA style, I'm here to help! Click the link above to book a 30-minute virtual meeting with me on Teams. You can view my availability and choose a time that works for you. Let's work together to make your research a success!

Discovery Search is how you'll look for books, articles, videos, and more from the library website. Below are short tutorials to help you understand how to filter search results to books (print or eBook formats), journal articles, videos, and more options.

Discovery is a great place to begin your research!  Use specialized databases for more in-depth research. View the links on the left for relevant database lists and the tutorials below to get started.

Study Rooms

Do you live in the Nashville area? The library has several study rooms that can be reserved two months in advance. Reservations are important to ensure you have the space when you need it. The study rooms are in high demand. Please check the library hours before coming to campus.

Simply click here to reserve a room by day and time. This page also includes the location of the study rooms - the main floor or second floor of the library.  If you are studying with others, note the room capacity, some seat four people while others seat up to eight.

Because these rooms are available only short-term, personal and library materials will not be left unattended in the study rooms.,

Need headphones, a laptop, charging cables, tabletop whiteboard, markers/erasers, or ring lights for videoing?

The Library Services desk on the main floor has a variety of technology for students to check out for use in the library.

Mediascape Room

Mediascapes are collaborative workstations that allow multiple laptops, tablets, and smartphones to connect to a large screen monitor simultaneously. Waggoner Library personnel reserve the right to relocate groups not using the collaborative nature of the Mediascape to accommodate groups that wish to use these features. The upper-level mediascape study room has a capacity of four persons and is reservable for 3-hour time increments. This room is locked, and reservations are required for access.

Click to reserve: The Upper-Level Mediascape, Room #220

When you arrive at the library, show your reservation email to the Information Desk student worker to check out the key to the room. Upon exiting, lock the door and return the key to the student worker.
