The library website provides access to all library collections, resources, and services.

Use the Discovery Search box on the library homepage to search multiple collections and formats at once.

What's in our collections?

Waggoner Library has both print and online collections and you have access to both!

  • Print collection: Includes books, DVDs, audiobooks, media resources, exemplary young adult & children's books, music scores & CD's.
  • Online collection: Includes eBooks, streaming video files, newspapers, full-text journal and magazine articles, trade journals.
  • The Waggoner Library tutorials will help you successfully understand how to use our resources.

Library Hours 

Fall & Spring Semester Hours (mid-August - first of May)

Monday-Thursday: 8 am-Midnight

Friday: 8 am-4:30 pm

Saturday: 10 am-4 pm

Sunday: 3 pm-Midnight

Please know that library hours may change during holidays, semester breaks, and inclement weather. For breaks and other hours, check here. Changes in library hours will be posted on the library home page as soon as possible. Please contact us with any questions.

NOTE: Card Swipe access using your Trevecca ID is required for main entrance access after 5 PM Monday - Thursday and all day Saturday and Sunday.  The ground floor access through Admissions is always card swipe access.


Search the library using our Discovery search!

Discovery Search found on the library homepage, looks for words, phrases, names, titles, etc. searching across multiple library collections. A typical result list could include books (print & ebooks), journal articles, newspaper sources, videos, and more. It is a great way to begin your research. Books

You can find books (Print and eBooks) by searching the library website. Discovery search allows you to search for print and eBooks simultaneously. Use the filters on the left side of the result page to choose print books or eBook format.

Coming to the library? 

Healthcare books in print are shelved in the RA, and and leadership print books are found in the HA to HJ sections on the top floor of Waggoner.  Additional titles are filed by subject discipline such as ethics in the BJ's or psychology in the BF's titles on the second floor of the library.

Your Trevecca ID serves as your library card. 

Not finding what you need at Waggoner? Interlibrary loan is available for further research support.

eBooks

Waggoner eBook collections integrate over 200,000 full text eBooks into Discovery Search.  Below are several eBook titles in the management and leadership subject area.

  • To see a full list of eBook titles in these subjects click here.
  • Click  Access online button to open the eBook. 
  • Waggoner eBook collections have options for the book to be checked out to an eReader (laptops, tablets, iPad, or smartphones are all eReader devices), or print sections of the book or view it online. In order to take advantage of those options, you will need to create an account, it's free! 

EBook Central and EBSCO eBooks are our two primary eBook collections. You can search them separately or by using Discovery Search.

Journal Articles

You'll find journal articles using library databases. You may want to use other databases beyond what is linked below. The A-Z Databases page links to all library databases. Databases are listed in alphabetical order. Read the descriptions and click on the title that meets your needs to begin the search.

Databases are great places to search many types of newspapers and news services.

They include national and international resources as well as regional sources.

Statistics

Statista.com is one of the first statistic portals in the world to integrate data on over 80.000 topics from over 18.000 sources onto a single professional platform. Categorized into 21 market sectors, Statista.com provides companies, business customers, research institutions, and the academic community with direct access to quantitative data on media, business, finance, politics, and a wide variety of other areas of interest or markets.

Streaming Video

Films on Demand's Master Academic Collection offers streaming video of over 12,000 full-length titles in the humanities, social sciences, business, economics, health, medicine, science, and mathematics. These videos are made available by Films Media Group from producers such as Films for the Humanities, Cambridge Educational, NOVA, A&E, and PBS. Unlimited, simultaneous, 24/7 access, in class or off-site, is provided.

ProQuest eBook Central Collection

About Chapter PDFs

Downloading chapter PDFs or page ranges of an ebook is the best way to optimize its use. By not checking out (downloading) the full ebook, you are allowing the ebook to continue to be available for everyone.

EBSCO eBook Collection

About Chapter PDFs

Depending on publisher-specified limits, up to 100 pages of an EBSCO eBook can be printed, saved, or emailed as a PDF file (per user) from within the eBook viewer to be printed later.

Notes:

  • Some titles may not allow for printing due to individual publisher-specified limits.
  • The number of pages may vary depending on individual publisher-specified limits.
  • The option to print or save ebook pages will be temporarily unavailable if you have reached your printing limit.
