Begin with interdisciplinary databases.
Specific Psychology, Mental Health, and Counseling Databases
BrowZine brings recent issues of scholarly journals to your tablet for browsing and reading. Like the Current Periodicals area at the library, BrowZine is for current awareness and browsing, not focused research or searching.
It brings journal content together from multiple publishers and platforms into a single place, where you can save your favorite journals, view the tables of contents, and read or save articles as new issues are released.
What isn't BrowZine?
BrowZine is not designed for in-depth research or searching. For that, we recommend Discovery Search or the many online resources that the library subscribes to. If you have questions about the best source for your research needs, please connect with us!
Who is it for?
People who want to stay current on articles being published in their field - faculty, researchers, graduate students, administrators and anyone else with favorite journals they want to keep up-to-date with.
How can I get help or find more information?
An extensive list of questions and answers is available on the BrowZine site. You can always contact the library for help when needed. library@trevecca.edu
Printing?
BrowZine does not offer a printing function, but articles can be opened in other apps to allow printing, like Dropbox or iBooks. PrintFriendly, a free web app, can be added to your browser and then applied to pages within BrowZine. Use the icon in the upper right-hand corner (three little squares in Android, a rectangle with an arrow in iOS) to print an article in a different app. The apps that are available will depend on what you have installed on your device.

Discovery Searching and Journal Articles
Waggoner Library has thousands of journals on all subjects, most are accessible through our databases, others we have in print and a few are bound. Typically when searching for journal information you would follow one of the paths below:
Searching a TOPIC
Use Discovery Search
Enter your topic into the Discovery search box on the library homepage.
Click the 'Articles' icon and then the green search button.
Results will need to be narrowed down by Trevecca's library; peer-reviewed; date range or other factors in order to see a list of relevant articles.
View the short tutorial below to understand Discovery search.
