This guide explains what library services are available to you and provides research videos and tips that will help you get familiar with Waggoner Library.

What you need to know about the library

  • Library Collections

You can access the latest research, including print materials, eBooks, and thousands of online journals searchable from databases and streaming video, DVDs, newspapers, and more. Learn more about our collections here. 

  • Library Hours

With the exception of holidays and campus breaks, the library is open seven days a week, closing at midnight on Sunday-Thursday. Click here for daily library hours. 

  • Library Card

Your Trevecca ID serves as your library card. It is necessary to check out all library resources. Your ID is needed to access the library during designated hours. Your ID should be carried with you when on campus. 

  • Card Swipe Access Hours
    • Access to the library using the front doors is card swipe access only after 5 PM Sunday - Thursday.
    • The ground floor library entrance is card swipe access only during library hours.​​​​​​​
  • Library Research Guides
    • Library research guides point to relevant or recommended resources and services organized by majors, library services, e.g., Interlibrary Loan, or general topics, e.g., Citation Tools and Newspapers. Click here to view the LibGuides home page and explore the guide for your major. 
  • Research Help
    • Get real-time help via text (931-250-4898) or chat during reference hours for quick answers.
    • Schedule a one-on-one research appointment with a librarian for more complicated questions, e.g.,  when you have a research dead end, finding reliable resources, or APA/MLA formatting.
