Print and eBooks are found using the library Discovery search.

Discovery's Advanced Search allows you to search by author, title, keyword for print or eBooks

You can also search for journal articles, videos and other materials using Discovery Search.

Print Books

Print books are either Reference (use in the library only) or circulating titles that you can check out.

Call Numbers for Religion related resources include (but are not necessarily limited to):

The reference collection consists of specialized encyclopedias and subject dictionaries representing all major fields. These titles are indexed in the online catalog but most have their own index with the set. These sources differ from general sources in that they are scholarly works. Consult with the Reference Desk staff for assistance. Photocopies can be made of needed text. Some titles have duplicates in the stacks or an online version available; it will be noted in Discovery if there are additonal formats available.

eBook Tips and Usage

 

Waggoner eBook collections integrate over 200,000 full text eBooks into our library catalog!

  • After you search Discovery and view your result list, you'll know it's an eBook by the description stating eBook.
  • Use the Discovery search filters to limit results to Trevecca eBooks. Filters are on the left menu of the result list.
  • Click the Access Online button to open the book.

As nice as eBooks are, they are not perfect. Restrictions exist. Copyright and Digital Rights Management (DRM) limits how they can be accessed and downloaded. The eBook research guide will take you through the process of viewing eBooks here at Trevecca. Waggoner eBook collections have options for the book to be checked out to an eReader (downloaded), or print book chapters or read it online.
