Find up-to-date biographical information, overviews, full-text literary criticism and reviews on more than 130,000 writers in all disciplines, from all time periods and from around the world. Watch the video below for more details. (1:54)

Provides access to content in the disciplines of language and literature, history, education, sociology, art & art history, philosophy and religion.

Lives of Literature on JSTOR
Contains four thematic modules covering medieval authors; modernist authors; Victorian, Edwardian & Gothic authors; and literary theorists.

MLA International Bibliography with Full Text This link opens in a new window
Produced by the Modern Language Association (MLA), the electronic version of the bibliography dates back to the 1920s. The database contains millions of citations as well as full text for 1,000 journals.

Academic Search Ultimate This link opens in a new window
A multi-disciplinary database of over 10,000 academic journals, newspapers, magazines, reports, and books. Also provides access to current Associated Press video content back to 1930.

How to locate peer-reviewed journal articles:

Most of our databases have the option to limit search results to peer-reviewed journals.
On the search results page look for the words filter, refine, or content type, then select peer-reviewed.

Waggoner Library holds the following print literary journals. They are located on the main floor of the library and are shelved alphabetically by title.
