MS Human Performance & Fitness Research Guide

This guide is your portal to Waggoner Library resources and services.  It is tailored to students enrolled in the MS Human Performance & Fitness program. The emphasis in this guide is on ONLINE resources.  Click on the tabs on the left menu to dive into specific information. If you need library assistance, the library staff is here to help: via chat, email, phone, or research appointments.

Discovery Search is how you'll look for books, articles, video and more from the library website. Below are short tutorials to help you understand how to filter search results to books (print or eBook formats), journal articles, videos and more options. Discovery is a great place to begin your research!

Use specialized databases for more in depth research. View the links on the left for relevant database lists and the tutorials below to get started.

Waggoner Library has great spaces to get work done.

From numerous computers to group study rooms we have a variety of spaces and tools for you to use.

  • Where can I work with a group of friends?

Group study rooms are found on the main and second floors. All study rooms can be reserved in advance! See below. Several can seat 3 to 8 while the majority seat up to four. Most have whiteboard walls and all have network/electrical connections. Dry erase markers can be checked out from the main services desk.

  • Book a Group Study Room

All study rooms can be reserved in advance. When you arrive at your reserved time and find that others are using the room ask the librarian for assistance. The rooms may be used without making a reservation but those with an approved booking have priority. Click here to book a room.

  • What about printing in the library?

Students can print to the Papercut printers. Print jobs are released by either tapping or sliding your TNU ID to release the print job.

  • Can you bring food or drink to the library?

Food-free zones are located around the computers on the main floor and in the Library Instruction Room. Waggoner NINETEEN| 01 coffee bar is on the main floor and serves coffee, teas, pastries, and grab-n-go lunches. Be mindful of your space, keep it clean.

  • What about headphones & laptops?

The main circulation desk has headphones and laptops for student checkout to use in the library. Just be sure you have your TNU student ID handy.
