Trevecca Stance on Racism

In recent days, we’ve reiterated the University’s stance on racism and discrimination. Believing that all people are made in the image of God, we denounce racism in all forms and stand in solidarity against injustice. Discrimination and racism have no place on our campus or in our community. We desire this campus to be a place that truly reflects the multicultural Body of Christ as described in Revelation 7:9, the family that Christ has called us to. It is our hope that at Trevecca, we will live out the very definition of our name, which means “a binding together in love.” We recognize that as an institution we are not perfect, and have, at times fallen short of this goal. We ask for your forgiveness and will continue to seek reconciliation, as Scripture calls us to do.
